This is my 1969 Chrysler Newport. She runs good, drives good, and I feel she looks good too. Rust was starting to be an issue when I got her about 3 months ago. I've been busy taking care of the rust one section at a time. She is just about completely stock from what I can tell. Still has original interior even, with just 2 places where there is any wear and minor ripping on the seats. Not too bad for a 37 year old car. Oh and I just turned her over 71,500 original miles. The first side view is the pic of when I first got it. I bought it back home in Pennsylvania and drove it nearly 500 miles without any problems at all. The 2 barrel 383 got right at 19 MPG the whole trip (all highways) which definitly impressed me.
Update: Well, C-SICK is now her name. Since she's a c-body mopar and big as a yacht! Yeah so anywho, I've now lowered her 3" in the rear and had 40 series flows and a fresh dual exhaust installed. It's now sitting level (I lowered the front before just by adjusting the torsion bars). I'm not one for speed so I could really care less how fast she goes.....I'm all about looks and sound. I'm still working on the looks part. I'm not keeping her original(it's just not my style) and since she's got some decent rust spots I've gotta fix anyway, I'm just going to make her a custom as I fix her up. Well thanks for checking her out. Later
