This Mivec monster is still goin thru a weight loss program to save a lil bit on gas, eventually to improve its quarter-mile time and achieve better power to weight ratio.

Now here are some of the chosen frames of the footages of this Mivec Monster, runnin on a Saturday morning at The North-Luzon Expressway in the Phillippines

Check out tha needle of tha speedometer, 230km / h plus plus or around 143 miles per hour or faster, and goin faster.

Tha shift-light by Pivot Japan did not indicate that i'm running out of engine revs at that moment on fifth gear.

Take a stare at tha trunk..

This Mivec Monster carries a set of two 15-inch
MTX Thundercast subs for impressive sound pressure levels. Each subwoofer has its own amp.
I also installed two 8-inch mid-bass Pioneer Speakers with a separate amp.
With 3 amps, plus an MTX dividing network, I had to add fuse boxes, a grounding network and a 1 farad capacitor.

Necvox satelite-navigation ready, mobile multimedia system. Its a dvd & mp3 player, PS2 and IPOD-Video ready;
Pioneer 's digital sound processor

URR699's 1997 Mitsubishi Lancer

PDRF-Drags record is 15.1 secs in a qrtr-mile with the full sound system set up on board.
That's two 15-inch MTX subs with 2 amps to power it, two 8-inch mid-bass speakers and an amp, 3 sound processors, a 1 farad capacitor and the wiring network that goes with it. Plus the 2 din Necvox multimedia system, a pair of front 5-inch Pioneer speakers and tweeters with passive dividing networks. The additional Sound Deadening Material to enhance the power of tha Sub-Woofers, added considerable weight.
Broken axles have been holding it down from getting better 60-foot times which will eventually improve quarter-mile runs

There it goes as it burns the Advan AO32Rs on tha strip.....

ADVAN-Yokohama AO32R s at tha front and
Goodyear Eagle F1 s at tha back.

Mivec badge glorifying Mitsubishi's remarkable technology
OEM back-glass wiper, since we experience a lot of rain in the Philippines.

Japanese OEM PIAA foglamps have been installed to house the H.I.D. system. ( Thanks to Mr. Joel Tan for convincing to buy these sets ) It indeed gives tha bling to tha ride....
