91 Pacific Blue Lotus Elan SE Turbo
Everest chip V5.2 with Switcher board, full 3'' stainless steel exhaust system by Twister, HKS SSQV Dump Valve, Magnecor Hot Wires, APEXi Sports Air Filter, AVO racing fully adjustable suspension (hard as hell!!!), upgraded 17inch WORK Emotion CR wheels with Avon ZZ3 tyres and Willwood Big Brake Kit. Uprated Stage 3 Clutch from SPEC and Lightweight Aluminium flywheel from Clutch Masters. Adding to that is Quaife ATB Differential for maximum grip and acceleration.
Greddy Boost Controller and Greddy Turbo Timer also installed on the car.
Interior with Alcantara Black/Red Leather with custom feet chrome bars on doors, frame, pedals, etc etc and a Sony NC9950 with TFT screen to keep me going on the road.
Superb performance on this car. 165bhp when original now almost 75bhp more that bring a 0-100km time in just under 5sec and a top speed of around 170mph.
This is a perfect car for everyday use, quite comfortable to drive and it looks really nice on the road. Best of all is that it is a roadster so under hot conditions you can just pop the roof down and enjoy the wind.
Overall the handling of this car is what makes it a TRUE Lotus car. Every corner seems as a new challenge and although this car is a FWD it is said to be one of the best handling cars ever produced, since the low centre weight and suspension is tuned to provide stability in speeds that only a Lotus car can provide when cornering.
This is one of the finest examples of Elan SE's and I am planning to save it as a classic. This one is one of the rarest RHD's as it has A/C which very few others do.
