7/22/2009: Unfortunatly, a couple months ago my baby was totalled.  I have since purchased a beautiful 89 Black LSC.  Luckily only a wheel/tire, radiator and battery was lost along with the body.  All parts are going to be swapped into the new ride.  Updates to come!!

Engine swap pictures on Page 2

10/6/2008: Installed R1 Concepts Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors on the back for now and swapped in the 3.73 gear and a posi unit.  Baby can fly!  Even with the stock AOD and torque converter, I can still chirp first to second :O

6/9/2008: Ordered a set of R1 Concepts Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors along with Red stuff pads. My Air springs got a hole so I ordered a coil conversion kit from arnott industries for a sportier ride. Put in my polished u/d kit along with a blue 3g alternator I picked up. just got back from carlisle but the mods are only starting to pick up

4/24/2008: Finally got the car back from the shop. Now has the 255 lph HP pump in there along with a new tank etc. Next I'm lookin at a modified AOD w/ wideset gears and 4.10s w/ posi :D

3/19/2008: Well after bringin the beast over to the mechanic to have them install the fuel pump and AFPR, it turns out that the tank, the pump hanger assembly, and the fuel sending unit are all bad. It turns out that the hanger assembly is discontinued so thats $280, the sending unit is $160, and the tank is $140 all after shipping (not including labor). Needless to say there aren't gonna be any upgrades for quite some time. Hit the $15,000 milestone marker of green dropped into my money pit :/.
I have also decided to sell a set of valve covers I bought before the engine but are now once again sitting in the box, they were on for about 6 months and are still in great condition. ledzep2acdc's 1988 Lincoln Mark VII These will bolt right on to any Mark VII or Mustang 86-92. Here's the link to them on summit . Send me an offer and we'll see what we can do. Ill send actual pictures once i get them.

Update (3/7/2008): Bought a summit ignition box (850600) and of course a month after I buy it the price drops $20; go figure. Installed it a couple weeks ago and am about to have the fuel pump and AFPR installed next week. Pullies will follow installation.

COBRA CHROMES!!!!
These are shots right after they were put on. The air bags of the suspension were empty(obviously) which gave the car an awesome lowrider look.
Im a sophomore at Ruters. People refer to my car as a 'granny car' but after a set of wheels it changed dramatically. After getting this baby free from my neighbor, I figure no matter how much money I put into it, it will always be a bargain. So far I've spent $5000, 1000 on exhaust, 1500 from wheels and tires with alignment and road hazard warranty. The rest comes from a new battery, the stereo I put in (below), 300 on initial repairs including window motors, and 700 valve covers, repairs to the abs brakes, and the engine since the engine light, brakes, and abs lights were all on for the longest time. I also bought a drivers side mirror off ebay for 20$ because the one I had was cracked and didnt move right. The mirror looked kinda beat up but with a lil windex, it looked great. The next thing i need to do is repair the sunroof since it will only close, not open which Im assuming its the switch that I have to get from a Ford dealer.

Sound system put into my car right after christmas. Worth every penny of the 450$ spent on it(after the installation $$ of course)
Unfortunatly there are a good number of dings on the car, mainly on the drivers side along with the material half off the chrome strip that goes around the middle of the car. There are also some rust spots which I have kept my eye on and hopefully wont spread. The antenna is bent at the top and will not go down. (reason why the top is bent, thanks to a FREE car wash thats gonna cost me anyway) The front leather seats are more or less trashed thanks to a leak in the sunroof that allowed four years of rain get in so i put some seat covers in for about 20$ per seat until i get serious about the interior. The steering wheel was also shot so i threw on a grip because it just looked and felt so horrible.

Just got these babies for 85$ at the local speed shop. Unfortunatly my front bumper needs to be replaced and if i hafta take it off to put my fog lights on (which i just found out), i am currently on the lookout for one.
