kmayb's 1986 Ford Mustang

I have had this Stang since June 18th, 1986. I have spoken with so many men that talk about the cars they owned in their youth and they regret getting rid of them. They wished they still had those cars. So I promised myself that I would not part with her.

The paint is waxed down to the undercoat at a couple of edges and seriously needs refreshing. I have a couple of ideas for paint that I need to upload for a poll. That will come later.

The motor has 180,000 on the clock and leaks from every seal. I have a 306 stroker kit ready to install so no more oil puddles on the drywall I lay under her in the garage. She runs strong but leaks like a siv.

Thanks for the comments man! The motor was a funny one, I never did an oil change, because it leaked a quart a week. It was a constant flush. I pulled the motor January 2008, to build a 408 out of it, and have been crunched for money, due to the trouble with the law I had created for myself in the 5 months of driving the thing. 170mph in a 60 is not looked upon lightly. Neither is the many other things I did AFTER losing my license for a year. Whoops! Anyway, I'm now planning on building a nasty 400m. It's the big brother of the 351cleveland, so everything you can do to a cleveland you can do to a 400. Look into CHI heads, you'll crap yourself. $3400 gets you 400cfm out of the box! Built properly, thats almost 800hp na on pump gas! I'll edit my profile here in the next couple days to put more details out there, so stay tuned!
