The project 82 Fiat Spider. I bought this car a few years back in fair condition and began walking down the long road toward restoration. K&N intake, ANSA exhaust, International Auto Parts header, high compression pistons, MSD ignition, cross-drilled rotors, sport springs and shocks, and the list just went on and on.
Once I decided that the car was mechanically sound, it was time to cut out all of that Italian rust.. and choose a new color. The beautiful blue-silver paint has been the topic of much concern. It was never a Fiat color, but I liked it better than the original bronze.. and that was the end of that.
The interior is all new in silver and black Allante (faux leather). With custom floor mats, carpets, door panels, corners, consoles, and belts. Between the paint and all the stitching, I was out over $7,500, and still trying to hide $8,000 worth of parts receipts from my wife.
My brother reminded me that you can't cruise without sound, so he donated the JVC El Kemelon stereo deck, and more than a few hours getting it to fit in a dash that just wasn't meant for that kind of hardware.
Many more features to come on this car so stay posted. (cams, big steel values, an 1800cc head to further increase compression, and other HP increases).

Fresh coat of polish kept me from taking a picture in the sun

You can see the tips of the ANSA exhaust.

Here you can see the JVC deck. The angle provides a perfect view from the drivers seat. Also shown is my personal reproduction of the original shift-nob.

I'll post some pics of the engine upgrades and some other features later on down the road.
