Alright got some better pictures 0f my 05 obsidian black pearl STI,just got it saturday 3-18-06. Came from a 98 pearl white prelude sh, loved it but the mileage was getting high so had to let it go. Everyday i have the STI i forget more about the prelude.

Plan on doing a few mods like, turbo back exhaust,BOV,intake, and maybe a front mount intercooler that would be later on. Anybody got any suggestions or good websites please let me know...

Hey nice Subie!! You should check out MySubie.com. It's a new Subaru social network w/ tools to help enthusiasts find parts, reviews, mods, pics, events, and more. Let me know what you think.

nice man. I wanted a black one, but they couldn't get one in the whole state of FL for me. The headlights are pretty simple to do. All you have to do is remove them, remove the screws that hold the clear part to the rest of the housing and put them in the oven for about 15 min at the lowest heat (200 I think) or until the silicon that seals the light melts. Then you pry around the light with a screwdriver or something flat. Then you just remove the amber parts of the lens. Put the clear part back on with the screws too and put it back in the oven to remelt the silicon. Finally you can reinstall the lights. There are better instructions on www.iwsti.com. It's purely an STi owners forum. Very helpful with everything there is STi. Do a search on there for better instructions and pictures.

The 350Z had an intake and full exhaust. It's pretty quick but I beat it by a good 1.5 car lengths in the 1/8th mile before I had the axleback and accessport and I missed 2nd gear too. I love the TBE. It made a huge difference. I first got a used stealthback from ebay, and then got the axleback later from a iwsti.com member. Im running 12.8 in the quarter, and have never lost to a 350z, the AWD launch basically destroys the 350Z and puts you at about a 2-3 car length lead at the start. The Z catchs a little at the end since our 4th and 5th kinda suck and the fact that we have to switch into 5th in the 1/4.

hey, nice car. the cobb tb is awesome but kinda pricey. i got it for a few reasons, it looks like the stock exhaust, so no cops flag me down, it passes the sound test at 89db i think, and it sounds nice, but not too loud. if you want to hear a sound sample go to "http://cobbtuning.com/sti/power-i.html#catback" where they have two sound samples. i got it for around 1100 at south coast subaru in orange county. i used to have hks hi-power, but it was an eye catcher for cops.
