This is my 97 Honda Civic EX Coupe that I purchased beginning of March. I bought it as a daily driver to save me money on gas but the customization bug has grabbed me once again.

This is what it currently looks like - 22 Mar 06. No tint, new hubcaps. Much better.

These are pics of it when I first bought it.

It was completely stock when I bought it. The interior was very dirty and neglected, it had multiple coats of cheap tint, jacked up hubcaps, and crappy paint. So it went to get detailed, it is much cleaner now and the tint is off. Now that it is clean I am going to start modifying it to make it look the way I want it to. I want to keep everything as clean as possible and minimize anything that looks "ricey."

So here is a list of what I will be starting with.

- Black leather shift boot w/red stitching (installed 18 Mar 06)AFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic
- Kenwood H2EC Sirius Satellite Radio (installed)
- 13% tint all around (installed)
- 03'-05' Civic 14" hubcaps (installed)
- Skunk2 shift knob AFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic (installed)
- B&M Short Shifter AFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic (installed - big improvement)
- DC Sports 4-2-1 Header (installed)
- ALpine CDA-9857 (installed)
- Crystal w/black headlights AFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic
- Sylvania Silverstar bulbs (installed)
- 17" Konig Trouble wheels... ehh, maybe, I am thinking of some other optionsAFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic
- P205/40R17 Yokohama H4S tires AFBlaZeR2's 1997 Honda Civic
- Ceramic brake pads
- New dark charcoal headliner, old one is falling out.
- Paint pillars, gauge bezel, door trim, air vents, and center console Silver and black
- Paint valve cover red

Might look similar to this.

Future Mods
- AEM Cold Air Intake
- Floor Mats
- New pedals
- New gauges
- 5 gallons Second Skin Spectrum Firewall
- 120 sq ft SS Damplifier
- SS Rattle pad and Overkill, maybe even some Luxury Liner
- Component set for the front, 6x9's for the rear, amp to power them.
- Two Kicker S10L5 Subs and Kicker amp in custom box. (out of truck)
- New front bumper, possibly a simple looking body kit
- New Paint

****Update****
I hit a deer on 06/06/06, weird I know. Cracked the bumper, smashed the headlight, dented the fender and hood. So I bought two brand new stock headlights that I am going to paint the trim black. I am going to have a body shop fix everything else and paint the whole car. Plus I am going to add a Mugen front lip and Type R rear lip.

Thanks, I wouldnt recommend a body kit either, I'd go for a lip kit next time....around here everything is really expensive so I got the spoiler & lights on ebay, good deal on spoiler not the lights though..Late

Should be fun, its got a lot of potential! just keep it clean though, btw before you buy your jdm style headlights you should just paint your stock ones, its real easy + cheap. Later
