Finally: starting the "BOOST"project!!! After saving up and piling up the parts for almost a year, I am ready to start. The total comes up under $2500 for everything. Here are some progress pics:
Lifing the motor to slide the oil pan out to attach the oil return line. This was a bitch and we ripped the old motor mounts. Oh well, figure after 16 years they need replacing.
Taking the front bumper off to install the intercooler. You actually have to take off the whole pop-up light assembly to get the bumper bolts. Friggin annoying, but worth it.
Test fit the turbo and piping:
