odometer for this engine turned over to 10000 miles, 9/3/08 4:11pm

9.26 fixed cruise control, used 91 mustang equipment

Spring of 07 first run of my car first time distributor was 180 out and then 2nd time a plate petween the engine and trans started to grind, my friend Andy is the camera man.

the next day when i got the noise to go away

Hi this is my first Crown Vic and car. I bought in Aug 2005 it for 700$ with 47k origional miles it hasnt been mooved out of the garage for the first four years of its life. It looked bad when I got , and it was fully functional.

Here are some field pictures. My dad took them when I was at work.

How does your car sound in the tunnel?
First you find a tunnel at least 12 feet long, at a time with no traffic.
then come to a stop in the tunnel, neutral rev it up a few times.
then stick it in first gear or low and take off fast squealing the tires as mutch as you can. some of you might not go anny where for a while

and thats how you tunnel.

after two days of this I decided to take it back off even after 1 hour I was having second thoughts to change it back to stock. the glasspacks are just too loud at anny low throttle times like cruising, or "sunday driving" and just too quiet at anny acceleration times, way too loud in the car and not enoughf outside to make up for the pain of hearing it in the inside.

so from my expereance you cant have a loud enjoyabel exaust under 60$ just save up and buy the hundered dollar each FLOW MASTERS.

8/2/2006 finilly got the dual exaust complete w/ two dynomaxx mufflers it made my car whisper quiet.
you can see them on page two

this actually worked, I used an angle grinder w/ a cutting wheel, recipicating saw, drill with a 1" paddle bit, flat head, 15mm wrench, and seat trim off a riding mower.

Here is a long story of what happened at the end of august 06

LONG STORY

8/10/2006
for a few months my car has had a water leak from a hose for cooling the throttle body.
it was at the bottom center connection of the hose, that has a work space of one inch thick.
I had to take the upper and lower manifold off to replace a 3/8 by 11 inch hose.
so i went ahead and replaced all upper gaskets and remove some carbon bulid up, the rest of the chuncks fell down into the oil pan.
got it back together, and she ran good after i got the spark plug wires strait.

three days later i was on my lunch break leaving advanceautoparts with oil for an oil change ",I thought that the carbon build up would run out with the old oil and that it would be all i would have to think about it and i should be able to go on for a few months."
i started it up and the low oil pressure light stayed on allong with a loud nocking noise i drove it for 20 seconds to a good spot to be towed from.

I got it towed back to the shop "work, all i did was change the oil" drove my car in got it on a lift and i asked someone what they thought, one mechanic said "crank shaft bearings"
i heard that and tried my best to keep it in and walk to the back. i cried for half an hour, then i was calm enoughf to walk aound the junkyard aeara looking for parts, found maby 3 motors and one transmission

all i needed was an oil pan cleening and a new oil pump and drive shaft. i did it all my self. ran good for 4 days.

drove for an hour the new oil pump broke. then i knew the motor and trans, were useless. ran my engine lean of oil for 30min going back home then the motor over heated and locked up.

I wasnt even able to cry tonight because ive been trying my best to not to think about it.

and thats the way it was. next page for new begginings.
