Update 6/15/06- I had an XM sat radio in my car. I took it back to the store. XM used to have a station called "The Torch". It played Christian Hard Rock, being that this sort of music is impossible to find on a radio, and because where I live (out in the Country), we dont have any good radio stations anyway. I bought the XM, I found that the Torch was now only availibe to listen to online. I already have a station I listen to when Im on my computer called "Christianrock.net". This made the Roady XT useless for the main reason I purchased it.

I called XM and told them I was cancelling, they offered me 3 months free not to. I told them no thanks. Bought a Sirius unit, glad I did. Not only does it have a Christian rock station, but "normal" rock stations on it are far better. Ive had the Sirius for 3 days, and have listened to it more in this time then I listened to XM in the two weeks I had it.

With the XM, I spent more time flipping through channels than I did listening to it. Many times I gave up and shut it off and put the CD player on. I bought an additional antenna for my house for the Sirius and for my work car, Im very happy with Sirius service, XM boasts about being the best, HA!.

6/15/06- Undercoating has finally been done to the car. Right now the car smells like burnt rubber (person who did it must have got some on the exhaust). Probably will take a week or two for it to burn off, I'll live.

Update 4/10/06 "Silencer" is no more. Its not really any louder without it. Id like to know who's bright idea it was to put one on in the first place. The only purpose it seemed to serve was knock down some fuel economy. (Government conspiracy to keep us paying at the pump I suppose)

What can I say about it?.. Lets start with its history...

According to Carfax.com it was first registered in Georgia as a corporate company car... In 2001 it was sold at an auction, changed hands another time.. and boom.. Its mine... It has 72,500 miles on it, under the average which is very cool. Its a 4.6L V8 engine. The same one used in Mustangs and Crown Vic Police cars... Its a 30th annivesary Edition Cougar. Beautiful new looking interior... It doesnt look 9 years old.

The car has Infinity and Kenwood speakers already installed by the previous owner. Unfortunately took his aftermarket head unit and put the stock one back in... Its junk, it doesnt work half of the time... Ill take care of that when I get some green.

Ford Modular 4.6L V8 2-valve
