this is my Ford's replacement...been away from GM too long. it is a '78 Chevy K20. was originally a K10, that's why it's a shortbed. now it has an 8-lug D44 front (will be changed to a D60 in the future) and a 14 bolt full floating rear end with 4.10 gears in each end. has 38" Super Swamper TSL's for now. has a 454 under the hood with a MILD (not sure on specs) Comp cam and an Edelbrock 750 CFM carb. it breathes through Hooker headers and 3" Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with turndowns, exiting under the truck. has about 9" of lift VIA 6" suspension and 3" body (body lift wasn't my doing...i'm not a body lift fan and most likely when i can afford to get the 12" lift springs i want, the body lift will go bye bye and i will just have all spring lift like i prefer). has '99 Dodge Ram power seats and FULL factory gauges that WORK! even the tach works on this one folks!

i'm not too fond of the clear taillights...stock ones will end up going back on here...

future plans in here include changing the dash/door panels to gray and possibly adding A/C, Power Windows and Power Door Locks...

i did some research on the 73-87 GM C/Ks (and 88-91 R/V trucks) relating to the fuel tank integrity in a side impact...i was shocked to find out this little @$$ shield is ALL they do to protect the tank from being CRUSHED in a side impact...note how it's bolted...to the very bedside that will be crushed in a side impact...way to go GM!
