So i figured i would sit down and give this a bit of a tidy.

it all started with a rusted out old mini picked up for $100

this is after i got her home not running with a large impact on the passenger side front guard

and both front floor pans rusted right out. but suprise suprise the motor had just recently been rebuilt.

i removed the paint and then went to work panelbeating and filling all the dents and scratcheswatomini's 1972 MINI Clubman watomini's 1972 MINI Clubman watomini's 1972 MINI Clubman watomini's 1972 MINI Clubman

the paint is canairy yellow from super cheap cost me another $100 but about a month in sanding and fixing all my mistakes and runs, not to shabby for a first go.watomini's 1972 MINI Clubman watomini's 1972 MINI Clubman

i added some go fast stripes.

and here is how she looked about 1 year ago been on the road for about 8 months and i had removed the nudge bar and the driving lights.

so this is it as it is today new rims and still looking just as good.

oh and remember how i said that the motor was just rebuilt well it blew about 1 month ago and it turns out the block wasn't shaved properly and most fo the bearings were in a bit rough and all the markings were wrong.

my guess is it was an apprentices first go or somthing so will be getting the motor back soon and hopfully will be able to fix up the engine bay a bit.
