Rear Doors
The rear doors don't take any speakers, but I felt that I had to deaden them to get a true quiet ride (I didn't want any week links).

Picture of the back door with the door panel off. As you can see, there is something called a vapor barrier, moisture barrier or vapor shield. Keeps moisture that comes in through the door and ruining your doorpanel.
Picture of the back door with the vapor barrier taken off. The sound deadener I'm going to apply will make the vapor barrier obsolete.
Picture of the door panel with 3 layers of Esoteric Audio's Hot Mat sound deadener placed on the outside skin of the door.
Picture of the inside skin of the door recieving another layer of Hot Mat sound deadener. At this point in the picture, the rear door has approximately 4 layers, 1 on the inside skin, three on the outside skin. Now it closes with a "THUD" instead of a "bink".
This is what the inside of the door panel looked like before I started sound deadening it.
Before I put the door panels off, I put another sheet of Hot Mat on the inside of the door panel. I'll be adding a closed cell foam at a later time to absorb some of the sound as well.
