Test & Tune for Southern Super Heavy Shootout 8 @ Atlanta Dragway
Don't miss SSHS9 in November @ Atlanta Dragway!
On these pages I'll show you a car that has not only become my obsession, but the obsession of thousands of other 94-96 Impala SS owners across the country and around the world. Hopefully, you'll see why its more fun to go fast when you've got room for five. If after looking at these pages, your still not convinced, watch my SS in action at StreetFire.net and the Cowboys From Hell video I created that has a whole bunch of B-bodies turnin it loose. Or check out my other videos .
I bought my Impala SS in October 1999 while it was still under the factory warranty. It only had 14,500 miles on it and no modifications. That is until I became a member of the Impala SS Forum and the modifications have not stopped. I did get my first car show win at the Year One Bristol Bash 2002 in Bristol . I placed 5th in class and 12th for Best Overall Impala against nearly 300 other B-body's at the first Impala SS Nationals (ISSCA 2003 ) and I even got my picture in GM High Tech Performance magazine.
LATEST MOD - Paint Job (Part Duex): I finally got sick of the shitty job All American Paint & Body in San Diego did, so I took it to a body shop here in Tampa. The car was in "paint jail" for 3 months at a shop highly recommended by the local club president of Gulf Coast SS - Kenny Canniff. Photos of the work from start to finish are on my Paint/Body page.
