Welcome

This page is dedicated to my first vehicle. I started driving this van in march 2002 and I have constantly been working on it. My first activity was adding lights to the ceiling and placing blue gel caps over the dome lights in time for prom night.

Later on, I was able to purchase two twelve inch MTX Terminators from my neighbor. (Pictures coming soon) For about a week, until I located a fairly powerful kenwood amplifier, I wired the two subs with the for high-range speakers attached to the box in to the back speakers. A few weeks later, I purchased a Blaupunkt head unit and installed it with a mounting kit because of the oversized Chrysler radio. I like the radio. It puts out 55x4 watts peak, 25x4 RMS and it sounds great.

(Better pictures coming soon)

The Terminators are okay. I definitely got more power than I paid for, but I still need more. I will be starting an installation job soon and with my employee discount I plan on purchasing four 15 inch mtx thunder 8000's. I am currently designing a custom box to hold the four subs and double as a back seat for three passengers as there are only the two front seats and one custom installed rear bucket seat.

Within the past few weeks I have installed a few new lighting effects.
First, I removed the front grill and drilled enough holes in it to mount two white light ropes on the inside of it.

I mounted two switches at this point on the dash. One to operate the grill lights and the other didn't have any function.

A few days later I installed two blue Nitro LED's under the dashboard on the driver and passenger sides. They are extremely bright and light up the floor in almost the same manner as a black light. Unfortunately, I cannot properly photograph these lights at night when they are at their brightest. This is the best I can do.

Over the past couple of days I installed two sets of fog lights on the front of my van. It was a fairly easy task even though I had to install a new fused line from the battery soley for the fog lights.

Pictures of the exterior of my van and my subs will be posted soon. Due to a bad hard drive, my home computer has been dead for about a month and I am forced to use the computers at school, so I'm not sure how long it will be before I am able to update my pics. Also, I was in a car accident in which a car turned left in front of me going the opposite direction and, due to a stopped tractor-trailer, neither of us could see each other until I was about ten feet from him. I slammed on the brakes, but I still caught the back passenger side of his car causing him to slide into another car before coming to a stop. He's being charged so luckily my insurance will cover the repairs. I lost all of my lights on the passenger side and I will have to replace the bumper, the side panel of the hood, and the hood as well. I'll try to post some pics of the damage before its repaired. Thanks for visiting my site.
