I got this car when i was sixteen, and it ran for about 2 months . then the car developed a knock and it sat. it sat for 3 years befour i was motivated enough to do something with it. I got it from the original owner, it sat in her garage for 8 years, it had 90,000 miles when i got it, it has like 100,000 now.""the knock"" so i tore the engine apart to find out it was a rod bearing, while on the look for a new crank and rods i found a complete engine at a junk yard that was sitting in the back of a bus, it was so clean for being in a yard. so i bought the motor. which i was told came out of a 1970 dart I then put it in myself. it ran good but the gas was bad so the intake valves stuck open and i bent a couple pushrods, took it to a machine shop had it all fixed put it all back together for the tenth time and now it runs good.ive only spent about $2,500-$3,000 over all new engine included
