I made a seperate page for this install. I figured 16 pages was enough for one car, so I made another. In this car's page, I'm going to document the progress of my install to reach 150dB with 1 15" sub and 4000rms of power. I'll find out if I reached my goal on May 7th in Carlisle, PA where I'll get on an AC 190 Mic (last time I was on it, I did a 145.6)
I guess another little thing I have going on in the back of my head is to somehow make it into a magazine.. not for performance.. but for audio. I could care less about how fast my car is. I like loud, clear music. but most of all.. I love the bass.

Worked on the baffle today and got the fitment of the sub in. BARELY have enough clearance between the bottom of the magnet and the bottom of the box. gonna make sure I brace it so it doesn't vibrate.
Fabrication is almost complete.. just have to sand down a few things
Had to call it quits. Spring Break is over tomorrow, so I'll finish it up the next time I'm home

I was home for Easter break and had some time to finish working on Project 150. All that's left is to get on a mic. 2 more weeks and we'll find out!
Mmmm.. looks sooo good. Only mistake I made was the top of the piece that is used to flush mount the amps. I cut the fabric too short so a little bit of wood shows, but I should have that fixed by the time the comp/car show comes.

Didn't do as well as I'd hoped. 142.1dB at the dash. Took 1st place by .2dB. It's not bad for not having time to get everything ready. the box isn't even fiberglassed or braced on the top or bottom. I'm actually budgetting a new project. all I'll say is a "tiny" car, 1 or 2 18's, and alot of power.
