I'm just starting a relationship with this car. It's a V8 and was created for the US Market in mind. I love it's style and it is reminiscient of my 84 Celica GT that I am selling. My husband is going to be the guy working on it, and he does that for a living so I'm pretty much hooked up. Right now we're spending these first few days trying to locate our neighborhood Porsche parts vendors. . .it's got 97,000 miles and doesn't look like the timing belt was ever changed, so before I get to drive it he's replacing stuff like that as well as hoses and a whole list of things. A paint job is in the future, as it's lifting in a couple places and peeled off on the front right fender, and I'm really torn when it comes to painting it its original color or repainting the silver color. It has the dark blue interior and originally was kind of a metallic sky blue. We really dig the silver, but the blue interior doesn't really feel right to me with the silver exterior. It needs a lot of interior work. If those seats could talk!! I'd like to do black interior if we repaint it silver, and as much as we like original cars. . . silver is not a big variation off of that. I think these cars came in silver anyway, just not this particular vehicle. . .
