Project: 1979 GMC Dually King Cab

Truck originally bought in Tampa, Florida.  Brought up to Vermont shortly after, passed down from my Godfather's Dad, to my Godfather, to my Dad and then to me.  It was/is in rough shape to say the least.  The truck was black w/ maroon interior.  It has a 454  V8

My Plan:

_______________________________________________________________

1979 GMC = Free (Gift from Dad)

1985 Silverado Parts Truck = $

Misc. Parts =

Total Invested So Far=

Tore apart the '79 to the frame.  Sanded and used the grinder to get all rust off the frame.  Painted the outside of the frame Viper Blue and the inside Black.

Began sanding and grinding the old cab to get it ready to put on the frame (after all this work I ended up finding an '85 Silverado for parts and don't need this cab).  The hole in the roof is for a rag-top.

Then the old cab went on the frame and I started to add the suspension, rear end, etc.

Then I bought a 1985 Chevy Silverado for a parts truck.  I'll be using the cab, bed and rear fenders, the motor and exhaust system, and most of the interior.
