These pages will document the progress of the work I do on this car. They will progress in chronological order as much as possible--so some things will probably change over time. I plan on doing ALL of the work myself, in my garage.
January 2006:
Here are a few pics of the car when I got it home . I knew from the start that this car was going to be a project!!! The plan for now is to fix the rust on the body, and put a 3TC motor with a turbo.
This was going to be a major restoration. I was even considering finding a rust free TE 31 and cutting the body off and dropping this body on. But after a full disassembly there was too much rust--the rear wheel wells were rotted away. It is too bad that I didn't take more pictures of all the rust. Also the floor (at least what wasn't rusted through) was really torn up from someone doing a real hack job trying to put in different seats.
