This is my 1985 Buick LeSabre Limited Collectors Edition with a tan/creme paint and a dark navy vinyl top to match it's navy plush interior. I purchased the car from a teacher at my school on Febuary 10th 2006 for $1,950 with 98,000 original miles. It contains the infamous "Rocket V8" engine. I had to replace the stock ratty paper intake hose with a high flow plastic intake hose and I replaced the previous dirt caked air filter with a Pennzoil Air Filter. I replaced the plugs with Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs and the old rotted and melted spark plug wires Accel Spark Plug Wires that are custom fitted for a smoother run. I am planning on replacing a few more things. Such as the front and rear bumper filler's, weather stripping on the left and right of the rear windshield, and replace or repair the weather stripping on the Driver's side and Passenger's side windows. I have recently purchased and obtained a Flowmaster Delta Series 40. I will be putting it on as well as gutting the catalytic converter. I am not putting hydrolics or big wheels on my car, I have nothing against it, it's just not for me. The car has a certain natural beauty that should not be fooled with but prevoked by adding exhaust to bring out the true sound of the V8 and making the engine run great with a good filter, plugs, wiring, and oil. I just believe cars like my 1985 Buick LeSabre should just be cherished for what they are.
