Well, after four ye ars of pampering this ride, it is finally done... With one downfall, its now under the control of a new driver. The couple above had purchased my Elki for their son about the same age as me. I am in the United States Air Force and could not take it with me, and I was afraid it wouldn't do well in the new area it would be in (Arizona). So, congrats to this lucky family. And as for the son, kno w that I put every ounce of energy into that "cruck" and its still mine... Right before it sold, it had a plethora of upgrades a few including A/C that'd blow ice cubes, new tires, a stereo that put those guys with their "1,000 watts of Sony" to shame, and obviously... paint! Also, I had the carb rebuilt and according to others who are familiar with this engine, it was the smoothest running 331 V6 they've ever heard... and it actually put you in the seat! I'm not neccessarily out of a vehicle though, with military income, Im working on a new toy... >:) I will miss this car, and if I ever see it again, its mine!
Before and after color sand and detail. Before and after of Billet Grill. The interior is probably the most complimentary thing on this El Camino. I have also just installed a Sunpro tach...
Sony 200Watt,built-in amp, cd/am/fm deck, it works like new... NEW MOTOR
Some older pics Engine. Spectre Differential Cover, Flowmaster 10 series race muffler, Magnaflow high flow cat, all through aluminized 2 1/2" tubing.
