I bought my Jeep back in 2000 all stock. First thing I did was put a 2in body lift on that a friend sold to me for 20 bucks. I went to a Junk Yard and bought some TJ flares and ran a set of 33in Daytona Stags that I had laying around. I traded my stock YJ springs for a set of BDS 3in springs. Bought some Revolver Shackles and longer brake lines and longer shocks. Soon after that I went to 4:88 gears and a Lock-Rights front and rear. I traded my Dana 35 in on a Dana 44 with 4:88's, Detroit locker, Moser shafts, and Disc brakes. My old tires were shot so I bought my self some 33in MTR’s. I painted it and was happy with it for about a year or so. Well one night in town a mini van pulled out in front of me. Well I T-bone it going 55mph. (35 if you’re a Cop) The tow truck driver drove it up on the wrecker and killed the motor. What he didn’t realize was that the oil filter came loose and was pumping all the oil out. He locked up my 2.5L beast. I received by Insurance check and started all over. I went with a SOA lift with 2.5in Skyjacker springs. Pulled the 2.5L in favor of a 2000 4.3L Vortec along with a TH350 Tranny. I kept my NP231 and added a AA short shaft kit to it. I had a monster of a Traction bar made and added Z-box’s to the rear. Now with all this added flex I needed the longest shocks I could find. I settled for 16in travel shocks from Skyjacker. Made some shock towers and bolted them in. On the rear I cut a tub and ran the shock through the floor of the Jeep. Since my fenders were smashed in the wreak I decided to make some flat fenders for it. I purchased some 36in TSL Sx’s and was ready to rock. I soon ran into a buddy who was welling to trade some work to build me a Dana 44 front for exchange for a paint job. I installed the Dana 44 and made a Belly up skid for it. I sold my 36in Sx’s 2yrs later and bought some 38in TSL Sx’s. Added a 12,000lb winch I traded for rent off my old roommate. And this is where it is now.
