angelicooodevil's 1973 Buick Apollo

This is my car. It is a work in progress. It was my brother's first car and when he bought it the original motor was still inside and it had ugly yellow paint. (yeah, I realize the paint still sucks)

But it ran good and was quiet. He put a Chevy 350 in it for a reason unknown to me. It wasn't loud enough so he put headers on it. And he didn't stop until he had Edelbrock intake, Flowmaster exhaust,

enough speakers for a baseball stadium, air shocks, new paint, electric ignition... and a shiny red paint job

Then he got rear ended and now the trunk leaks.

Because there was so much sound proofing in there it held water, I think you see where this is going....

Yeah, that's my quarter panel, or what is left of it. Well he got his shiny red paint job for under $1000 and then he got cancer...he sat in the hospital, the car sat in the sun, the paint.....evaporated? I'm not sure. Then his wife left it at her office in the ghetto because she locked the keys in her desk accidentaly. Whoever it was who tried to steal it failed, but they did ruin the column and stole the steering wheel and valve covers, ha ha. So my brother had it towed to his front yard where it sat until some guy offered him money for it. He needed the money but didn't want the car to leave the family, so he sold it to me. I always wanted a Chevelle, now I have grown to like my car more. So I have a lifelong project now.

So ever since high school I have been kind of crazy back and forth between here and there and not really investing in much of anything let alone my car! Now I am back here and definitely here to stay and have been spending more time on my car. I can't afford all the body work it needs at the moment so I have been doing some myself just to kind of put make up over the bruise so to speak. here are the pics but I am not done, more to come, one day it will be really nice!

Still have a long way to go but work and school and social demands take a lot of my time!

Hey Angel... nice looking Apollo. Yeah it's going to become a lifelong project, and even worse (just kidding here) a severe obsession and addiction.
