If you're reading this and thinking, oh this is another rich person who can afford a BMW, you're wrong. My L6 started on a driving where it was left parked for 5 or 6 full years without being touched. When my dad and I had it towed home, we found all types of problems. The funny thing is, no matter what condition a BMW is in, it will always run. We recharged the battery that was left in there and started cranking the engine. My dad, as the mechanic, immediately found all types of problems: I had to get a head gasket for my engine, new air filter, oil filter, tires, oxygen sensor, fan clutch, copper piping for the transmission fluid to flow in, fix the odometer/speedometer, NEW PAINT JOB, new brakes, brake rotors, master brake cylinder, new spark plugs, new engine sensors, etc. Of course after two years of working everytime we had available, we finally fixed all the problems and added new tires. The tires I once had on it were the ones that come stock with '97 528's. Later, I got 17" BBS RK Rims wrapped with Low-Profile Continental Tires.
