This corner of my mostly unvisited page is dedicated to my '99 Triumph Sprint ST motorcycle. Fun bike, rides great, and doesn't tear up my back like a pure sports bike. As much fun as crotch rockets are, they aren't very practical for commuting longer distances (such as Chattanooga-ish to Knoxville-ish, TN).
So, here we are.
This is what it looked like when I first got it.
Sitting in the Fort Rucker Lemon Lot.
Got it home.

I found it by accident. I was thinking of buying a bike, but wanted something unique. I started getting a liking for Triumphs and this one just happened to pop up at the right time.
I since bought a tank bag, a smoke windscreen, and a seat cowl. Apart from that it's stayed mostly stock.
I did, however, chop the rear fender. I never really liked the look of the back end. It always struck me as an afterthought, like they realized after designing the bike they needed something to attach the tag.
So, here's what I did today (8 March 08).

So, this is the new bike. Cleaned up (sorta) and ready to ride to somewhere cool or work.
