This is my 88 toy i picked up last year. its lifted enough to put big meats under it without rubbing at full flex... The motor is stock with the stock 5 speed. The only colour under the hood is an optima to turn over the v6 in the cold winters up here. Both bumpers were home built, and they're rock solid. The roof is bobbed back so the cap is easier to yank off in the summer. It looks "like a poor mans avalanch". The old tailgate was swaped out for an ultra light one... All i got for sterio equipment is dash speakers and a mp3 deck to bump my bob marley.and thats all i can think of right now..

Great Looking 4Runner! Nice trail pics too! You must like mud! How did you bob the hard top? Do you have any close up pictures of the top? Very interesting. Good thing you and the 4Runner didn't go over the cliff. I like the repelling though! I thought about doing my 4Runner orange too, but went with yellow. 5 ***** Stars!!

Nice Toy. I like the bobbed top. To answer your question: yes, they are louvers for heat. You can buy ones for Toys but I found the Jeep ones to be cheaper. I like them, they radiate a lot of heat.
