This is my 1973 Dodge challenger that I just brought back from Anaheim CA. on Feb. 19,2006, I flew out to Anaheim and than drove the car back in three days . It has a 360ci motor that has been rebuilt and is kicking close to 400 HP. It does not have matching # so I can do what ever I want. I'm going to shave the door handles and the bumper bolts.Change the gauges out and maybe put some carbon fiber on the inside. Up date the suspension with some coilovers in the front and not to sure about the rear. Paint will not be original that's for sure. The tires will be stock steel wheel with 9 inch red circle dogdish hub caps and 3 inch trim rings.

Nice Challenger--I have always loved those. Sounds like you have some nice plans for it. Cool that you drove it home--three days, that's a good trip. My son and his girlfriend at the time took a 600 mile trip to pick up a `66 Mustang for her--I thought that was a long enough distance. Luckily they had no problems, b/c she drove the new car while he drove his `67. Anyway, good luck with your new car and enjoy!

Quick question. Have you ever put any carbon fiber parts on the exterior of any of your cars. If so, how did they hold up? . I thinking about changing out the hood and going with a carbon fiber hood but im afraid after a while its going to fade. Also i don't how it is going to contrast with the color of the stang. Suggestions?
