9/13/09 May try to upgrade the rear speakers today

Thanks for viewing my page. As of  4/29/09 I took the system out. The only thing that remains are the speaker upgrades. Thought about getting rid of it, but now am going to keep it. I have done a little work to it. I removed the door pod I built, looked like crap Anyway. Replaced the fosgate componets with infinity mid bass 6.5s and infinity  tweeters are still in. I may be replacing the 2 way infinitys in the rear doors with mid bass infinitys and tweeters. Right now I have 2 infinty 6.5s and 4 infinity tweeters to do something with. I need to get a 4 channel amp and use my crossover to tweek everything. Money is tight right now and so is my ability. Have to have wife do alot of the work I broke my leg so I cant do much. Will update later and let ya know whats going on with the car.

So its not chrome, still looks nice I think. Kinda hard to see thru at night, but it keeps the sun out of your eyes even without sunglasses.

5/9/07 The car is mine to do as I wish. I have a set of Infinity REF. 6.5 to install in the rear doors, I have 3 kicker l5 12's and a kicker 1200.1 to run them and an orion 4002 to run the highs. Removed

Here is the chromed outline of the gas lid. You can also see the tail lights and rims here

5/20/06 Got the flowmaster 60 on today. Sounds nice not ricey. Now to decide on a tip. Didnt want to use the factory one, plus we would have to had cut it off.

First we cut off the stock muffler. Then we used a reducer to mount from the tail pipe to the muffler. We welded the factory muffler mount on the muffler and welded it all on. Had to mount it a little sideways cause it didnt fit just right. Still cant tell its there like the stock one.

Just some pics of the outside.
4/26/06 The wife and I spent a little time today and tinted the two front windows. We went with a factory match of 20%. Am going to have a strip of mirror tint put on the front window. Think it will help the chrome pachage stand out. Also might put a mirror tint on the sunroof but not sure yet..

This is our 2006 Chevy HHR. Loaded, spoiler, chromed 17"rims, all the goodies. It might not be much to some but it is our first brand new vehicle. More pics later. This one was taken at the dealership. 3/4/06

I like the little touches with the chrome surrounds. Tasteful, not at all gaudy. Keep up the good work!
