Well here's the new truck! Tundra Limited V-8 iForce (4-door) with TRD package.
I've had Toyotas since 1983, but this is my first Tundra (2002).
And the fact that this truck is built 25 miles from my house didn't influence my purchase,(not really) But always like to help the local economy.
And get this, the destination charges are the same no matter how close you live to the factory! Go figure?
I got a fairly good deal on it, even though the sticker was $33,900 OUCH!
Getting a bit pricey for a pick-up.
But after driving it, I had to have it.
A Toyota with a V-8, what a concept! These Toyotas arent imports, they are home-grown.
And what a fast truck with increadable stopping power.
This Limited is plush too, the interior rivals that of my wife's Lexus LX470. I did put the gold emblem package on this. That seems to enhance the appearance on a Black or even a White truck.
The Euro style color mathing bumpers is a great looking improvement, thanks Toyota. I have replaced the stock taillights with black TYC eurostyle taillights.
If anyone could suggest a wheel upgrade, I love to hear it?

Just another note, after reading a few of the messages on the guestbook, It seems there is some confusion as to were the Tundras are built.
You can research it yourself but the Tundra is built ONLY at the Gibson County Indiana plant near Evansville.
I have friends that work there that have told me that they built my truck!
(see Mft. date,& VIN)
-- Here is a Quote from Auto Revista--
"The Tundra is built EXCLUSIVELY at the new Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility in Gibson County, Ind. Toyota spent more than $1.2 Billion to build the plant and completed it in just under two years."
If it's built here by American hands, then it's NOT an import!
