I have owned four F-Body's and desired the like since I was a little kid. I remember one of our neighbors bought a MINT Z28 and we all worshipped it. Even though we could hardly ride a Big Wheel, that black, bad-ass looking Camaro made an unbelievable impression on me.
Before and after installation of 'Ghost-Bird' HOOD (manufactured without baffles for direct air shot to Lid)!
The 'Ghost Bird' simply means there are two 'Firebirds' painted into the dual blue stripes which can only be seen at certain angles. It's really cool and to this day I cannot locate the manufacturer. See Below for one ghost bird...
I had spent weeks going back and fourth deciding between C5 Rims and the Sportline 962's. I finally decided on the pictured Sportline's as they have that historic, deepdish look, reminescent of the first Firehawks. I sold these rims with the car.
The low profile tires in conjunction with the Eibach Pro-kit, in my opinion, give the Firebird unmatched poise.
With just the listed common mods, ran 13.2@108mph!!!
