This is my 1997 GMC Safari SLX (PROJECT X). I purchased the van used on 2/28/06. This page will document the buildup. The first photos are of the van just as I purchased it (bone stock). Stay tuned for what my family and friends have dubbed "The Never Ending Story". I tend to get carried away with my project vehicles. I'm planning on keeping this project as simple and functional as possible. The van is going to be used as a daily driver. 3/10/06 Installed Audio Entertainment System (4 Rockford Fosgate 10 inch P2's, powered by PPI 150x2 & Rockford Fosgate 200x2, Alpine CDE 9852 H/U, 4 Pioneer TS-A1671R 6.5 inch speakers, 2 Pioneer 4x6 inch speakers)
