Found this pickup out in the country, out under a tree with a camper on it. Bought it for $300. My dad and I werent sure what we were getting for that much, but we got it back to our shop, and got it running. Put the thing in gear, and it started shaking like crazy, turns out the axle was broke. Got the axle welded together and then took it for a 2 mile drive. I plan on restoring the piickup as much as possible. I'm not sure what year it is, but i think its a 56. Its got a strait 6 (six cylinder) in it and its a 4 speed. If anyone has any websites or any info on where i can get parts i would greatly appreciate it. thx

Well, started to tear apart the engine, and overhaul it. Going to take off the front fenders, and grill in the prosses as well, so we can easily clean and paint the rest of the engine.

Got the engine all painted and put back together, and it started right up!

I have a pickup just like that, the truck has a 220 six, all original, I put a 12 volt system on it, in runs like a top but has been sitting for a while, I also have a extra cab, chassis, engine parts, the cab is complete, no bed, my truck is a long bed, I am also looking for the set of chrome head lite bezels, like on your truck, my son bent one of mine with an oak tree, haha,
