It had about 50,015 miles on it. {Engine only has apx 41,000 miles.} Tan leather seats. It was kept covered AND in the garage but taken out occasionally for 2 - 5 mile drives. The paint was in great condition and a RED red. It is all original and not a "restored" model.
It needed some minor work. Hopefully the new owner will have the time to spend with the Lotus that we haven't the past few years.
In some markets this car is already considered an antique. In 1984 only 418 Turbo Esprits were produced. Less than 150 of those were sent to the US. Though the actual count of what was in the US varies depending on the source. Certainly there are much fewer today. It was styled by Girogatto Giugiaro. {Who also styled the Delorian.} Think "Bond, James Bond."
