My 2001 Cavalier was a clone of many Cavi's around here. There are 3 just like mine at work alone not to mention drivin around town.
For starters, I decided to spice the front end up some. First I went out to Lowe's Home Improvement and bought some Gutter screen "Mesh" ( $7 ) and began making a template by holding the posterboard against the grille opening and pressing a Sharpie marker tip in the groove around the vent opening and cutting the shape out.
I then traced the pattern onto the screen and cut it out with some tin snips. Before and After Pictures...
Now that I have the both side grilles made, its time to start the middle grille opening.
Now,I wish Texas didn't need a front plate but since its mandatory, I need to do something better with that ugly bent out of shape protruding plate holder GM put on it. I need to remove the plate holder and start the same process with the center grille.
