Here are just some pics on our trip through Yellowstone National Park on Labor Day Weekend. The beautiful weather made for some beautiful drivin'! And anyone who's been to Yellowstone knows the curves... well lets just say they're worth the trip.

A pre-order shot of my personalized plates. I know some people don't like the Personallized or "Vanity" Plates, but I like the ones that are not too cocky and take a second (but not too long) to decipher. Once I came up with these, I couldn't pass em' up. Funny thing is that they weren't available when I went to order them, but the lady at the DMV told me that the person that had 'em already was in their 3rd day of default (hadn't renewed them) and after 10 days, they lose rights to them. I went in 7 days later and they were still in default so the lady gave em to me! Sweet!!

Here's a couple of pics of Wanda on our road trip to Garden City/Bear Lake/Logan, UT. Nice winddy roads, loved it! And blew the doors off a Lotus Elise on the way up there! Hey, he asked for it!

Below are some photos of my first love... my 66' Mustang Coupe. If I remember right, I think I actually bought her before I had my license. She was my first car and helped me raise all sorts of hell around town! The 302 under the hood gets her gallopin' pretty quick! She now rests safely in the hands of my father, back home. Can't wait 'til the day when she's back in my stable! And yes, I have a thing for the white ones.

Just in case you don't believe I had it in high school... here's a blast from the past!

Yes... the plates say "ITS A 66". If you've read this far, you might as well read this... Here's a little story for ya (before I had these plates). Soon after I was actually driving the car (once I got my license), I was outside of the Wal-mart in Aberdeen, SD one day standing near my car, waiting for someone that ran inside for a minute. This guy walks by my car, slows, and starts gawking. I'm thinkin', "Cool, he likes my car" (which is pretty cool for a 15 year old). He says,"Nice 65, huh?". Apparently, he didn't realize it was my car, but just commented to me cuz I was standing there. I said,"Well, ya, I like it, but I believe this one is a 66." Then he goes on and on and on about how his grandfather rebuilds Mustangs and pointed out all sorts of B.S. reasons why this one was a 65 (all of which were either pure B.S. or flat wrong). So I say, "I'll bet you $20 (should have made it more) that you're wrong." He says, "OK". So I walk around and open the passenger side door, meanwhile he's looking at me like I'm crazy. I open the glove box and pull out the registration and the original manual. I walk it over to him, hand it to him, pull out my license so he can put it together that it's mine! He hands it back to me, reaches into his wallet, pulls out $20, hands it to me and says "Its a 66", and walks away. It cost me $15 for the personalized plates in SD and I had $5 left over!

If you're out there... Thanks Wal-mart sidewalk dude!
