PLANNED... - This is a big page... I've got a lot of plans!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NEW POLL... Okay, I'm still trying to decide what to do with my rear end... Um... let me rephrase that...
VOTE FOR ONE OF THE BELOW!!
1. AS IS...
2. CENTER BLACKOUT PANEL...
6606stang's 2005 Ford Mustang
3. OR ALL BLACKED OUT!
OLD "STB" POLL... Well the results are in and I'm glad most of you thought the same as me. I just ordered my Steeda Double Bar Front Strut Tower Brace from D'Agostino Racing. And luckily its the cheaper one too! The double bar one I ordered definitely seems a lot more functional, but I was enamored with the "blingy" billet end caps of the Single Bar version. But ultimately, it's not worth the extra $150. It should be here Friday, I hope. I'll definitely post pics of it as soon as she's on (which should be about 2.3 seconds after I open the box)! Now you get to help me decide which rear end black out panel to get... new poll coming soon!
OPTION #2 IT IS!! AND HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!
OLD "REAR END" POLL... We determined that at least 90% of you think I needed to do SOMETHING with the back end look and 70% of you think I should do a black out panel and leave the stripes as is...
Well consider it done! I just need to decide between the Xenon or 3D Carbon one now... (pics at bottom of page)! And yes I'll need your help on this decision too... with my indecisive ass!
I feel pretty good about where I'm at for engine mods... In fact, there is not much more I can do without going forced induction or nitrous (which will come in the distant future). I'd like to do some Headers and a O/R X Mid-pipe sometime soon, but this is quite a bit of money (especially the headers).
Soooo.. I've decided that next I want to make her corner and launch a little better and for a reasonable amount of money, I think I can make some great improvements.
Here's the list so far...
1. Spohn OR CHE Tubular Adjustable Poly/Poly Panhard Rod I'm leaning towards the CHE, just because I've heard so many people are happy with them.
2. Spohn OR CHE Tubular Adjustable Poly/Poly Lower Control Arms - Again, leaning toward the CHE's.
3. CHE Adjustable Poly Upper Control Arms
6606stang's 2005 Ford Mustang
4. CHE K-Member Brace with Torque Limiters
5. Progress Technologies Rear Sway Bar and Bushing Kit
6. MAYBE... Progress Technologies Front Sway Bar and Bushing Kit I've been told that an upgraded rear sway will help reduce the understeer (kind of an issue on the S197's), but an upgraded front sway will potnetially cancell out that improvement. So I'm not sure if I'll be doing the front one for now...
Plan B (Some interior/exterior and engine bay stuff)
1. A-Pillar Gauge Pods from Speedofsoundllc.com (not the shift light pictured though... Looking at Autometer Nexus Oil Pressure and Water Temperature Guages for it.. but MAN are they spendy!... Pretty trick though! Very tempting!
