Audio/Electrical Mods/Upgrades

WebElectric Products Sequential Turn Signals - It took me forever to decide on which sequentials to get (partially because I am extremely picky) but mostly because I couldn't immediately find any video of what they would look like on a car like mine. So for anyone what needs it... here is video of mine. Tell all your friends if they need to see them in action, just come on over and take a look at Wanda!

* P.S. This vid was before her new axle-back Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust... They add a little bling to the back and A LOT of Grrrr to the Growl!

WebElectric Products Daytime Running Lights (below) - I was very happy to find out that someone was making these kits, as I really think the DRL's look great on the new Steeds. Gives it an ominous presence comin' atcha (if you ask me). Installation was a piece of cake. There are two installation options on mine actually. (Keep in mind the DRL's are actually the turning lamps, like a lot of new OEM vehicles)
Option #1: When using the turnsignals, the opposite lamp turns off first (to bring your attention to the side that is still lit up, then the side that is still it up, begins to blink.
Option #2: When you turn on the turn signal, the side you activate simply begins to blink (the other side continues to stay lit).
Even though most OEM vehicles come the Option #2 way now, I opted for the Option #1 set up as it seems safer. With Option #2, when you turn the left blinker on (for example), immediately the left light turns off (start of the blink), but in that instant, your attention then goes to the other side that IS lit up and one could mis-interpret that as someone turning the opposite direction... have I lost you yet? If so, just skip this and move on! Otherwise I hope this helps at least one person! Check out the vid. Pretty short and sweet.

Pioneer AVIC-D3. I know it you see a lot of these in the S197's but dang is it nice. I love it. The mav function is very accurate and the overall functions are very quick and intuitive.

* Installed pics to come... .

Pioneer CD-I200 Ipod Cable/Adapter & Pioneer GEX-P920XM XM Adapter. ANYONE that is looking at a setup like this MUST get this $20 ipod cable! NO MORE slow scrolling through the artist lists and whatnot. You can now scroll through your item controls just as fast as if you were doing it right on the ipod. This is the best $20 of car audio equipment I've ever spent! So install was a piece of cake. And if you upgrade with the BlueTooth module or decide to run that little doggy Satellite radio... you just plug them all in, one into the next, and your good to go. The deck automatically recognizes that they are there. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
