Thanks for checking out my page in the works just like the camaro. Mechanically she is finished, had dropped a built 350 w/cam, full exhaust, suspension, brakes, rear end. I had purchased this kit a while ago, and while a lot of things in my life hold me up from finishing it, sometimes it is just the weather, too cold, too nice rather go riding. This is a body kit that covers basically the whole car, I am also custom making a rear "notchback" hatch with removable glass. Between that and the doors which are set up for "butterfly openning" which I am undecided on keeping, the passenger door does not close as well as it should and I have messed with it plenty. So between those two things it is keeping me from bolting down the rest of the kit. The interior is still stock which will be replaced, can't have an exotic car with a give-away bench dashboard of the 3rd gen camaro just looks cheezy. Not that I don't love the camaro, it just doesn't look right with this car.
I hear quite a bit it looks like a ferrari, viper, vette, and yes even an eclipse, 3000GT.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro This is how it looks after I started doing some fiberglass work, should have covered the rest of the car. When it is finished I will most likely paint it gunmetal and redo the grill inserts black.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro From here you can kind of get an idea of what I have been trying to do with the rear hatch. I also need to fill in the gaps between the kit and wheel-wells and probably still lower the car, I bought some Eibach's that were suppose to lower the car and inch or two, but since I hacked up most of the steel and replaced it with fiberglass I think it made the car a little lighter as well.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro And here's the motor that looks like it needs to be cleaned as well. Lots of power will spin up to 6000 and with a torque converter it always chirps 2nd gear even at 1800 when you are in town driving by a cop and you don't want it to.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Update: Today I cleaned her up a bit to try and get some better pics.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Just looking badass.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro This is just to give you an idea how deep these rims are that hold the 355 tires

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro So the section with the gas cap is to show how much wider the car is on each side.

acemedtech's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro This is how it looks with the butterfly hinges on.

This is how it could look finished...
