2-27-2006 i've had my discovery for three weeks. i am working on the sound system for now. i get the windows tinted tomorrow. next will be a two-way paging, remote start alarm system. from there i will be adding a roof rack, bull bar/winch combo, light guards, skid plate, etc. i'm putting my new kenwood kdc-x689 stereo as soon as it's delivered. i've got a jl 12w3 sub and jl e1200 amp to push it. i mounted the amp under the driver's seat on the transmission controller rack. i put infinity kappa 63.7i 6.5 coax speakers in the back doors and wired for another amp and the components that i have yet to purchase. i plan on getting jl xr-650csi comps in the front and a jl 300/4 slash amp (to mount under the passenger seat) to push all four speakers. i am in the process also of building a fiberglass box for the 12" that will mount in the side cargo compartment behind the wheel well. my stereo will be here in two days and i haven't figured out a way to get the stereo out without the DIN keys. help with any insight you might have. i will post more pics soon of the box building process and te mounting of the amps. thanks for looking.
