This is my 1986 CRX SI project.
In the following pictures you'll see my D16A1 swap, disk brake swap and suspension mods.

Story:
I got this car for free from someone who was using it to deliver pizza. It was in extremely rough condition when I first got it, almost every plastic body panel was cracked and it hadn't been washed in years since the drivers side window wouldn't roll up. The suspension was shot, it needed brakes, and the motor was blowing smoke like a BBQ. However, it was the right price, had almost no rust, and the body was straight so I wasn't going to complain about the moldy Pizza smell!
I already had a plan for the car before I picked it up so the mechanical condition of the car didn't bother me since everything was going to be replaced anyway.
Here's a list of what I've accomplished so far:
Motor:
Rebuilt '89 Acura Integra D16A1, bored .5mm and decked, .5mm over PM7 pistons, resized connecting rods, ported and polished head, head shaved .050 to achieve 10:1 copmression ratio, ZC cams, Accord/Prelude F22 adjustable cam gears, 2G CRX DOHC ZC intake manifold, '95 Civic fuel rail, AEM fuel pressure regulator, B&M fuel pressure gauge, CAI with K&N filter, and a DC Sports header.

Transmission:
Rebuilt, Accord 5th gear swap, Act clutch, Phantom Grip LSD, and a 12lb lightened flywheel.
Electrical:
Rewired at ECU to run electronic advance distributor. NRG-CELL 11.5LB battery.
Suspension:
Energy Suspension bushings, 27mm torsion bars, rear coilovers with 300 lb springs, Lightspeed 19mm rear sway bar, OPM adjustable panhard bar, HF rear axle, and Koni reds on all four corners.

Brakes:
Complete '88 Integra disk swap, including Teg master cylinder and proportioning valve.

Wheels:
17" Enkei (shown), 205/40/R17 Kumho 711 tires.
15" Kosei K1's, 195/50/ZR15 Bridgestone Potenza SO3's.

Interior:
'90 CRX SI seats, '85 CRX SI 140 MPH speedometer with VSS, home made short shifter, Ractive shift knob and E-brake handle. Sony Xplod deck, Boston speakers and rare rear speaker grills.
Exterior:
Mugen knock-off front bumper, shaved mouldings and badges, carbon fiber 1 piece ZC hood.

Details:
So far most all of the work done on this car has been done by myself, with the exception of the machine work on the motor (however I did port and polish the head). I bead blasted every aluminum part in the engine bay including the engine block, tranny case and radiator tanks. The valve cover is painted with red wrinkle paint.
When I first got the car, the paint was in poor condition so I temporarily painted it just so it would look better until I start in on the real body work. Since the car was originally white, I thought a fresh coat of white would look better than primer. I painted the engine bay semi-gloss black when I had the motor out for the swap.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions about my car, I'll be happy to reply. Or catch me on www.redpepperracing.com S/N lxndr.
Future plans:
Finish breaking in motor (done), weld up 2.25 exhaust (in progress), dyno tune, finish bodywork and paint, finish interior, and finish tuning the suspension.
