Last year (2007), my dad played Santa Clause for my sister's pre-school class... he used my car as his sleigh... luckily this sled didn't need any reindeer!!!
We followed my dad to the school, must admit, he got allot of attention and the little kids LOVED it... the grown-ups only shook their heads!
