I have a lot of different pics from the entire buildup, all on my mac homepage here:

hopefully these can help some of you out that are looking into LS1/LT1 swaps or even if you're just modifying your suspension or going widebody. I would say a well prepped LS1Fc can be a total monster with just some sticky tires like 245 fronts and 265 rears on 17x8 and 17x9 wheels, there is no real reason to go bonkers with widebody setups but they sure do look amazing and they do offer better cornering grip. with some simple ebay wide fenders like the usual 20mm fronts and 30mm rears, you can just barely fit a 265 front tire and a 295 rear tire for sure, some people have fit a 315 on a 10.5 wheel under the RaceOnUsa 30mm rear fenders that actually measure out to almost 50mm.
just remember there are some benefits to keeping wheel and tire weight to a minimum, so a 255/295 tire setup can be an almost negligible improvement over a 245/275 stock fender setup.
OH MAN I freaking LOVE this car! it totally RIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the new front bumper, shiny new SSRs, sticky and super wide Advans, once I do some paint touch-up the FC should be looking great in 2008, wooohooo!
December 2007...
the LS1FC sleeps in the garage for the winter, awaiting a new paitnjob and some cleanup here and there. I found some back seats for it, lowered the car a little more in front, had the front Teins rebuilt to the newest specs, readjusted the front suspension and relubed the bushings. cannot wait to get on the road in 2008 with some tire shredding trackday fun and crazy hootenanny driving around town. omfg this car is INSANE, it is almost too much fun for me, like, it could be trouble, its fast, holy crap its scary fast.
June 2007... just got a house with a 2-bay garage so I can spend some time prepping the FC for paint and getting a fe things tidied up that need some attention, finally!
march 2007... the car is getting better soon, cleaned up the interior and removed the stock passenger seat, making mounts for the recaro to sit on the stock sliders wont be too difficult. I swapped out the aeromorive fuel pressure regulator and gauge and filter for the easier and more basic stock corvette unit that let me simplify the fuel hose routing and clean up that corner of the engine bay near the clutch master cylinder. I need to figure out what the hell I can do for a front lip and if I cant find anything to work then I am gonna have to make a big front undertray out of hard plastic or something and add on a basic lip like 1" or 2" tall because the car looks goofy with just sideskirts on it.
jan 2007... the weather was so nice january 4th, that I took the car out for a cruise and HOLY HELL its fast, I forgot how sick this thing was since its been sitting for a few months because of the colder weather and not wanting salt on its rust free underside. It pulls like a freight train, I mean it just keeps on coming and the T56 is geared just right for the powerband and 4.10 rx7 gears out back, fawwwwwwwwk it just rips! I'm more than happy with the Tein Flex too, they are a great coilover, perfect for a blend of street driving and autox/trackschool sessions, theyre range of adjustment is great.
spring 2006... Took the car for a rip down the local highway and its just insane how fast this car is for what it took to build it. just nuts. had it up to almost 160mph and its nice and smooth, what an awesome machine. I love the FC rx7 for its stability... when you mash the brake pedal the car just squats and gets even more stable, it doesnt lift the tail or get loose, its a very secure feeling, especially at triple digit speeds.
