Just recently I replaced the windshield, all the front brakes, including pads, rotors and calipers, new front seals, lower balljoints, new u-joint, new rear axle because the splines stripped off the old one so I also had to replace the side gear in the diff, new rear brakes, new e-brake cables, new rear axle seals, rear wheel bearings, distributor cap and rotor, new plug wires and plugs. I also replaced my fuel filters, oil filter, and new air filter. I've put over $1000 in to this truck so far and it made a huge difference in how my truck drives. Next on the list is all the body work, paint, and then a suspension lift and new tires. I also just bought a Holley brand cherry bomb muffler for my truck. The original one snapped off so I figured I'd get sumthin a little louder.
Well, like I said I was getting a set of 33x12.5" tires for my birthday from Big O, and it happened! Heres a couple pictures of the tires on my truck.
One week after I put the brand new XT's on my truck, my transfer case blew on me up at Stave. I could only drive my truck in 4 low so it was a long drive back to the main road. I purchased a t-case from a wrecker for $200 with a 3 month warranty. Another week after I changed the t-case, some more bad news. I needed new hubs, new wheel bearings, i did the upper balljoints, seals, brake pads (I found one on the ground which says enough), a couple other bearings and some other shit. i was not happy. but, i learned my lesson. If ur gunna play in the mud, take care of ur vehicle!
Sure looks good all dirty :)
This is the new grill I got for my truck off of a '82 F250, I think it looks better than the black one, plus the other one had a huge hole in it from a jack.
This is my truck in the middle of being repaired. I replaced rear brakes, one of the axles, a side gear in the diff, and my e-brake cables
