This is my 2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited. This is my second 4Runner, before this I had a 1991 Runner. When I sold the 91, I realized how much I missed having one, so I saved up and got a brand new one .
Since I bought the truck, I've started modding some things out.
The very first mod I did, was to make it so I could turn my foglights on whenever I wanted. Instead of only when the headlights were on.
Here is a great Write Up on how to do this mod. Pretty easy, takes about 10 minutes to do.
After doing this, I made my own mesh grill.
It's hard to see in the pic, but looks really good in person.
If you're interested in this, here is the Write Up for this one too.
Now is where I start to have a little fun with mods. My big thing now is LEDs. They have a great look, and on a truck like this, I thought it should have come with them in the first place.
The first LED mod I did was to replace the interior lighting.
This was my first attempt at these, the route I went with was similar to the plug/play LEDs you can buy online. The only difference is, I used 5mm LEDs for mine.
This worked pretty good, and here are a couple pictures of the results.
Map Lights.
Door Lights.
I also replaced my running board lights, and my parking lights with these.

Since I've done this mod, others on T4R have had interest in these, and one member actually improved on my idea. So I'm actually going to be redoing mine to match what he did.
After doing these small LED mods, I wanted to do something a little more.
