onetwin's 2003 Ford Mustang

2003 GT MUSTANG SPECS:  4.6L V-8 cast iron block/ aluminum head Valvetrain SOHC

Aaron's 2003 GT Mustang Modifications

Modifications List:

1) Complete window tint Job - 5/18/2004 - Tints & Tunes in Moncton, NB

I used to have all windows tinted, except front. The rear windows have 7% light going thru. Sides and port windows have 11% light going thru. I got caught and had to remove side tint.

2) Air Filter - 7/22/2004 – K&N

I added a K&N air filter in Moncton.

3) Custom Paint Job - 7/2/2005 - Carleton County Restorations, Woodstock, NB

I got hit by something on the two lane highway. There was quite a bit of damage to the stock paint. The car was getting sanded for the repair, so I decided to add painted stripes.

4) Front Fascia - 6/20/2005 - Mach1 Chin Spoiler.

My brother bought me a new Mach I Chin Spoiler.  I had it installed and notice a big change in appearance for small price!

6) Complete Stereo System - 6/20/2005 – Pioneer

Custom stereo Installed @ Future Shop in Fredericton, NB.

Custom box fabricated to fill the square hole where the rear seats flip down.

(2) Pioneer 10" 400 watt subs, (1) Pioneer 800 watt amp, (4) ga. Wire, (1) Farad Capacitor

7) Tire Change - 8/22/2005 – Kumho Escta 712

Added 245/45ZR17 Kumho tires, replacing wore stock ones.  Kuhmo’s wear quickly!

8) Amp Change - 9/29/2005 - Rockford Fosgate

My subs kept cutting out, so I changed my stereo amp from 800 watt Pioneer to 1300 watt Rockford. I also upgraded to (4) ga. wire and installed a (1) farad capacitor.

9) Stainless Cat- back Loud Mouth exhaust system - 4/6/2006 - SLP Performance

I had a fully stainless Cat-back exhaust installed.  Purchased from Summit racing.

10) Underdrive Pulleys - 5/22/2006 – BBK - Part #1559

01-04 3 Piece Aluminum Pulley Kit - Mustang GT

I had a set of Aluminum under-drive (oversized) pulleys installed.

11) Tire Change #2 - 7/13/2006 – BF Goodrich Tires

The Kumo's didn't last more than 15,000 miles. They wore bad on the front.  They stuck to the road really good, but didn’t last.  I had (4) new BFG g-Force ™ Sport tires installed. Bought them from www.discounttire.direct.com.  These tires have a higher tread wear rating because they're an Allseason / Performance tire. I hope to get two to three full summers out of these ones tires.  So far so good!!!!

13) UPR Short Throw Shifter - 11/16/2006 - U.P.R.

I got tired of the stock shifter, so I purchased and installed a short throw shifter, complete with adjustable shifter handle.  I also bought a round, billet aluminum shifter ball from UPR.

14) Cold Air Intake - 12/25/2006 – Premier Performance, Ontario Canada

Ordered and installed a new AEM Brute Force big mouth cold air intake.  All stock piping and filter box has been removed.

15) Optima Battery (Red Top) – 06/12/2007 – Walmart, Woodstock, NB

My stock battery went dead last week.  I bought a new Optima RED top 75/35 battery.  It is rated for 720 cold cranking amps and 910 Cranking amps.

16) 18” Chip Foose Speedster 5 Rims – 07/09/2007 – www.tiresdelivered.com

Had a guy give me cash form my Premium GT wheels and BFG tires.  Blocked the car up for 3 weeks and ordered the Chip Foose Wheels.  They are triple dipped Chrome.  Staggered set-up!  10.5” wide on the rear, 8.5” wide on the front.  .  I had (4) new BFG g-Force ™ Sport tires installed, balanced and sent to me online.

17) UPR Billet Aluminum Fuel Door – 01/02/2008 – www.haneymotorsport.com

Todd bought me a new fuel door for Christmas.

18) BBK Chrome Headers – 04/07/2008 – 96-04 Shorty Tuned Length Headers - 4.6L

Todd and I each bought a set of Chrome shortie headers.  Part #1615

These took approx. 10 hours to install.  Installed by Joe Delong.

19) UPR Aluminized X-pipe with Cats- 04/07/2008 - U.P.R.

I purchased from U.P.R. directly.  They were installed by Joe Delong, along with the headers. Part #7000-99-2.

Thanks! Funny story behind those stripes. They're painted on by the way. The car was brand new, about 6 months old. I was driving up the trans Canada Highway 2 lane, when a toilet bounces off a small trailer, up over a car (shattering) and plasters my car. Blew holes everywhere, including the front spoiler, window, holes down to my headliner. I wasn't hurt, but the car was pretty bad. It had a complete make over. It's coming, a work in progress.
