Thank you, Martin, for helping me finance my current 98 Z project.

UPGRADED TO A 4TH GEN.

so this car has had it's downs, and ups. now it looks to be going back down. :( basically, i bought the car for $500. it wouldn't start. some problem with the key stuck in the start position. changed the steering column, the lock cylinder, and had to rig a start button, because the computer doesn't like my key, or something to that effect. so time went on. threw two rods due to a hole in the oil pan. spent too much to get it fixed. got a paint job from one of those "macco" places. an ok job for $500. three years later, 3 cross country trips, cali to fla. etc... it's due for a new paint job, due to cracking, fading, and just shitty looking.

If you know a little bit about wireing and enough about engines and how to read wire diagrams then it is not that rough i would suggest getting the paineless wireing kit though instead of the junk yard harness. write me back when your serious about doing it and i will give you some good websights to help you thorugh the process.

Where are you getting the hood from? They had to do some sanding, grinding and cutting to get the hood to line up right. Its still not 100% perfect. But with the way it makes the car look, its worth it! You planning on making it functional?
