This page is about my 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T. It is dark red metallic in colour, and has a maroon velour interior.
I bought the T from an older gentleman (he was 70) on October 15th 2002 with 72 000 km (45 000 mi) on it. It was the culmination of my 4 year search for a Buick Grand National. I ended up buying it the day before I turned 20. Except for the typical GM paint, it was (and still is) in near-mint stock condition. It's one of the very few (280) T's imported to Canada that year, and has a metric dash. The gentleman I bought it from had acquired it from the original owner, his nephew, in 1989 when the nephew had to sell it to get a minivan. He lived in a very rural area and said he no longer had time to enjoy his car due to all the work he had to do by himself on his property. He was asking more for the car, but I believe he wanted to sell it to someone who would take care of it, not beat the snot out of it. The poor guy was holding back tears when he handed me the keys.
It has T-tops, PW, CSII, WO2 (black out package), a red pinstripe and a factory block heater. Unfortunately no positraction, but I love it anyway. I have put 8 000 km on it since I bought it and have enjoyed every one. It now has 80 000 km (50 000 mi). It's still basically stock... I just added a auxiliary transmission cooler and a k&n cone filter.

Dig that burgundy velour interior. Note the linear speedo which stops at 140 km/h (85 mph). Back then GM had a sense of humour.
Turbo Regals had notoriously poor paint jobs from the factory. Mine is no exception. Contrary to the Buick Grand National, you could order the regal T-type (and later just 'T') in any colour available in that year's Fisher Body palette. Mine is Dark Red metallic, an '86 color which could be special ordered for '87 (some of the early '87's were painted with the leftover paint from '86)
The T also featured a hood ornament, not present on the GN.
That guy with the goofy grin in pictures 5 and 6 is me. The guy in the blue coat is my brother, Marc. He's into Ford Taurus SHOs.
