THE NEW WHEELS ARE IN
I decided that the 14's just wern't cutting it, the car was getting attention from its paint and sleek body lines, but when you looked a little lower ya found these amazingly undersized tires. Let me tell you, it only took a few trips of driving in the rain to school for me to discover that these tires were obviously rated at the KY Jelly level!! My back end was out more than a 80 year old man's. So the hunt for tires and wheels continued. I had a big decision to make how ever, go with a 15" wheel and wide tires out back or something a little more attention grabbing like some BIG wheels wrapped in low profile rubber. After many hours of searching and waiting a set of 17's came up on Ebay, and just my luck, they were in Spokane! I have always been enthralled by the Pro-Touring look, so these were exactly what i was loking for, and only a days drive away (it sounds like a long way, but honostly, come on, it was worth it!!!) So after i talked to the sellar, a realy nice man by the name of Paul, we worked out a deal, and before you knew it it was time for a road trip! So the tires are Eagle Alloys 17" by 8" rims wrapped in sticky 245/45/ZR17's. The car now sticks to the road like glue, with the hep of my new Kumaho Supra ZR's, these tires are ZR rated! There good to over 180 MPH!!! Thats faster than i will ever see, but its just nice to know i could. So let me know what you think in the guest book if you think it was the right wheels and tire choice to make. Thanks for looking, and in case you were noticing, those are BULL RACING's Power Stopper disc brakes in the front, there will be a page about the convertion from my old drums to these coming very soon!!! These disc are on a factory back order right now, but believe me they are well worth the wait, you'll see what i mean when i tell the whole story behind the install and the performance of this new light weight kit
